Use a match to light the candle wick, carefully observe you will find that the candle wick melted into “wax oil”, and then the flame appeared, the initial flame is small, and then gradually larger, the flame is divided into three layers: the outer flame called the flame, the middle part of the flame called the inner flame, the innermost part of the flame called the flame core. The outer layer is brightest, the inner layer is darkest.
If you place a match stick into the flame quickly and take it out after about a second, you will find that the part of the match stick that touches the flame turns black first. Finally, at the moment of blowing out the candle, you can see a wisp of white smoke, and use a burning match to light this wisp of white smoke, you can make the candle rekindle.
Put one end of the short glass tube at the flame core, and use a burning match to put the other end of the glass tube. You can see that the other end of the glass tube also produces a flame.
